Brief Itinery:
Day 1:  Travel to Italy.
Day 2:  Arriving at Venice Marco Polo Airport. Transfer to the Palace Hotel (or similar) at Lake Garda. 
Day 3:  Discovering the historical town Verona and a cooking class at the end of the day.
Day 4:  Visiting some of the most beautiful places around Lake Garda, like the town Sirmione, including a little cruise on the lake and wine tasting.

Day 5:  On the way to Venice, discovering the historical city of Vicenza including visits some magnificent villas. 
Day 6:  Visit to the islands Burano and Murano, with visit to the oldest and most prestigious glass factory of the famly Seguso
Day 7:  Discovering special many places in Venice. 
Day 8:  Day at leisure to discover Venice on your own. At night dinner at one of Giada Valenti's favorite local restaurants.

Day 9:  After breakfast, transfer to the airport and Arriverderci Italia.

Detailed Itinerary - A trip you will remember forever

Day  1

USA - Italy: Depart the U.S. for Italy.

Pricing is based on flight from the East Coast of the USA. For folks traveling from other gateways, an air supplement may apply at the time of reservation depending on USA gateway.



Day  2

Venice Airport - Lake Garda: Upon arrival, proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs you will be met by your tour escort.

Transfer to your hotel at Lake Garda. Have time for unpack and for little rest before an orientation tour with your tour manager and welcome to Italy dinner at local restaurant.


Day 3 

Lake Garda - Verona: After breakfast at the hotel, we discover Verona with our local guide. Get the feeling of the never ending love of Romeo and Juliet. In honor of its many historical buildings, Verona has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The city is famous for its Roman amphitheater, the third largest after the Colosseum in Rome and still used for operas and other cultural entertainment, and other buildings that have survived since Roman times. It is a city that harmoniously blends its ancient treasures, with its contemporary ones. Afternoon at leisure in Verona. Later afternoon have fun with a cooking class to discover the secrets of some delicious local dishes. Enjoy for dinner the tasty food you have prepared.

Day  4

Lake Garda - Sirmione:  Have breakfast at the hotel. Later we will start our discovery of Lake Garda. It is the biggest and the most typical of all the pre-alpine lakes, enchant visitors with picturesque villages, medieval castles, and lakeside promenades. We will visit Sirmione, its magic atmospheres were in Catullus poems in first century before Christ. Catullus was born here and probably lived in the beautiful villa on the extreme tip of Sirmione peninsula. It was the biggest Roman villa in Northern Italy and its impressive remains can be admired. After we take a little cruise to explore the southern shore of the lake, see the pretty little towns and the green countryside as well as the majestic mountains.  After our cruise we discover the areas around the lake which are also famous for wine production. One of the best known is Bardolino, we will visit a local winery and have a delicious early dinner paired with their wines.

Day 5

Vicenza - Venice: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to Venice. Stop en-route to visit Vicenza worldwide known as “Palladio city” and is one of the most important art centers in Italy. Thanks to the genius of Andrea Palladio, one of the most influential architect ever, the city, together with the Villas built in the surrounding territory, became a real open-air architecture museum. Our walking begins with a fascinating walk of the historical center that Palladio transformed with his imposing civic buildings, basilicas and aristocratic residences.Our guided tour includes the Palladio’s Basilica in the central Piazza dei Signori, and a visit of the Olimpic Theatre. You will have the chance to have a panoramic of Villa Rotonda (exterior), Palladio’s most celebrated work; its temple like facades, its symmetry along with its natural setting, give the villa and air of splendid perfection. After lunch at local restaurant proceed to Venice our home for the next four nights. Venice is a magical tapestry of Renaissance buildings perched on narrow canals with sleek gondolas gliding silently beneath ornate bridges that will leave you breathless. Gondolas drift along, not just for show, but to deliver the staples of everyday life. Our arrival is also by boat. Check in at our centrally located hotel. Evening at leisure.
