Our walking begins with a fascinating walk of the historical center that Palladio transformed with his imposing civic buildings, basilicas and aristocratic residences. Our guided tour includes the Palladio’s Basilica in the central Piazza dei Signori, and a visit of the Olimpic Theatre. You will have the chance to have a panoramic of Villa Rotonda (exterior), Palladio’s most celebrated work; its temple like facades, its symmetry along with its natural setting, give the villa and air of splendid perfection. After lunch at local restaurant proceed to Venice our home for the next four nights. Venice is a magical tapestry of Renaissance buildings perched on narrow canals with sleek gondolas gliding silently beneath ornate bridges that will leave you breathless. Gondolas drift along, not just for show, but to deliver the staples of everyday life. Our arrival is also by boat. Check in at our centrally located hotel. Evening at leisure.
